| New Appointment |
We are very pleased to announce that Steve Harrison has joined our team to help increase our capacity to respond to customer enquiries and provide robust tender responses.
This is an important appointment to a vital role as Steve brings substantial experience of the electrical industry having previously worked for an electrical contractor which specialised in installations associated with the leisure industry.
Steve also brings with him a wealth of experience in the lighting field having also worked for the public sector lighting authorities.
Brook & Mayo has enjoyed a sizeable increase in the number of enquiries received and Steve will further enhance our ability to make technically robust and competitive responses within the tight time scales allowed in today’s market.
Steve comments “ This is a challenging role and I know my input will have a substantial and positive effect on the company order book therefore I am flattered by the faith Brook & Mayo has put in me in this challenging market”

| Dave Brook |
| We are sad to announce the death of Dave Brook one of the founder members of Brook and Mayo.
Dave died on the 5th of May 2009 after a long fight with cancer. He leaves a wife and three daughters.
Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
Dave Brook and Terry Mayo set up Brook and Mayo as an electrical contracting business 40 years ago after being demobbed from the RAF at Waddington. Dave left Brook and Mayo around 20 years ago to pursue other dreams in the south of England, but has kept in touch and has been very supportive and excited by our success in recent years.

| Brook and Mayo go International |
In a first for the company, Brook and Mayo have been awarded a project in France. The prospect of such a large project abroad seemed initially challenging, if not daunting. French regulations for electrical wiring, fire alarms and emergency lighting differ greatly from those in the UK. Despite this our staff and operatives alike have taken on the challenge and are determined to deliver another quality installation..
The project is due for completion in May 2009.
